This project involved creating an image-led a3 poster for a new Belfast Arts Festival. The focus was to base the poster in the centre of the city, therefore I picked what I believe is the heart of Belfast; City Hall and presented the building in a simple illustrative style using shape. The poster itself is created using Adobe Illustrator and focuses on the art and craft side of the festival. The paintbrush paints a colourful rainbow, appealing to all audience, with rain droplets at the end of it, highlighting the message that even with the rainy circumstances of Belfast, the festival will still be enjoyable.. This message was inspired by the quote; “There’s always a rainbow at the end of every rain” - Prince
